Information you choose to provide

CareerLaunch AI stores your profile, education and career preferences, self-reported skills, roadmaps, task notes, resume text and analysis, interview answers and feedback, portfolio plans, application records, and AI usage metadata. Authentication credentials are handled by Supabase Auth; the application does not store your password.

Why data is processed

We use this information to provide the career tools you request, persist your progress and enforce usage limits. Resume text, interview answers and other relevant input are sent to the configured AI provider when you request analysis. Do not submit Aadhaar numbers, banking details or other unnecessary sensitive data.

Service providers

The deployment uses Supabase for authentication, a PostgreSQL database, and the server-configured AI provider. Hosting is configured by the operator. AI-provider identity, processing region, provider retention and contractual safeguards must be disclosed by the operator before accepting real personal data. No advertising analytics or payment collection is included.

Retention and control

Records remain while your account is active, unless you delete supported records or request account deletion. Resume uploads are not enabled; resume text is retained with your analysis so you can revisit it. Settings provides a data export and confirmed account deletion. Successful account deletion removes database records by cascade and deletes the Supabase identity. Backup copies may persist until the operator’s configured backup retention expires. The operator must publish this duration before launch.

Security and your choices

Private endpoints verify user identity and scope records by ownership. Do not share your login. You can change preferences and disable the stored email-notification preference; outbound reminders are not currently configured. Career data is not published publicly or indexed intentionally.

Contact and rights

Use the Contact page once the operator configures a support address. The operator is responsible for applicable privacy obligations, including India’s data-protection requirements, complaint handling, consent and age-appropriate access policies. This draft is not a substitute for legal advice.
